Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!
In honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday, the children will engage in activities that center around Dr. Seuss’ stories! Throughout the month of March, groups will read several Dr. Seuss stories, cook green eggs and ham, make their own cat in the hats, and many other crafts and activities. Each of these will be a fun way for the children to celebrate the amazing author and all of his stories that we know and love. Please let us know if you’d like to join any of the fun!

On March 15th and 16th a few families will share with the children how their family celebrates Nouroz, a Persian spring celebration. At singing time they will demonstrate how families set a table with 7 items that begin with the letter “s” in Farsi. These signify life, health, wealth, abundance, love, patience and purity. We look forward to sharing this celebration with the children!
In the month of February we welcomed two new teachers to our DMHNS family, Mrs. Fosse & Mrs. Bryan!
Both teachers are excited to be here and get to know everyone. Please take the time to introduce yourself if you see them in the afternoon time. We feel they will be a great addition to our staff here at Del Mar Hills Nursery School.
Here at Del Mar Hills Nursery School we are so lucky to have such amazing families. We would like to thank all of those families who helped to organize our Chinese New Year celebration! The children had a great time and all of the teachers appreciate the planning that went into making it such a fun day!
